Privacy notice
This explains what we do with the information you give us. It is short because we collect very little.
Who we are
The K9 Companions is an independent pet care business run by Jacqui, based in Basingstoke,Hampshire. For any question about your data, contact us atbasingstokek9companions@gmail.com or 07504 243208.
What we collect
When you send a booking request or contact us, we collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number and postcode
- Details about your pet, including any medical or behavioural information you share
- The dates and service you are asking about
- Your vet's details, if you give them
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this site.
Why we use it
Solely to answer your enquiry, arrange a meet and greet, and provide the care you have booked. We never sell your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list unless you specifically ask us to.
Where it is stored
Booking requests are submitted through Netlify Forms and stored in our Netlify account, then emailed to us. Netlify acts as our data processor. Once a booking is complete, we keep your details only for as long as we need them for our records and insurance.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it within one month, free of charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.
Photographs
We take photos of pets in our care to send you updates. We will not post any photo of your pet publicly — on social media or this website — without asking you first.
