Experience that came before the business

I have had years of experience in training and breeding dogs, long before this became a service I offered other people. That matters more than it might sound. It means I read body language rather than guess at it, I know the difference between a dog who is being stubborn and a dog who is frightened, and I know which dogs will settle happily into a group and which will not.

It also means I am realistic. Not every dog suits every walk, and not every request is one I should take. If I do not think a group walk is right for your dog, I will say so rather than take your money and hope for the best.

Why we walk dogs together

A dog walked alone gets exercise. A dog walked with friends gets exercise and everything else that matters — play, company, and the social practice that keeps them easy to live with around other dogs. They run properly instead of trotting at heel, and they come home tired in the way that only comes from a genuine adventure.

That means varied routes rather than the same street every day, and dogs who know each other rather than a different line-up every week. It is also why the walks are a family effort: more than one pair of hands means the routine holds even when life happens.

What you can check

You are handing a stranger your house keys and your family pet. You should not have to take anyone's word for it, so:

• We are fully insured for pet care — ask and we will show you the certificate
• We hold a current DBS check — ask and we will show you that too
• The meet and greet happens at your home, on your terms, before any money changes hands
• You get a photo and honest update after every visit, good days and bad
• Our Google reviews are public, and so is every reply to them
